Who better to pull off the world's greatest disappearing act than the world's greatest magician? Of course, that was probably just a one-time deal and I don't think we'll be seeing him dressed up like that again. Besides all the publicity, he's put on a few pounds since then. He lost some of it after his 44-day fasting and said "I don't really know why I did it, although he probaby just didn't want to admit that he did it because Jesus fasted for 40 days. He levitates, he dies and comes back to life, he buries himself for a week, stands on a pole for a day and a half . . . sounds a bit like Jesus, no? _________________ "malakh.....you are by far the most arrogant prig I have ever come across on the web.[...]you are a pathetic human being and the worst christian I have ever had contact with." -MeSoSorry |

Share International doesn't claim Maitreya is Jesus and neither does the Donald Trump-led syndicate which promotes David Blaine. Benjamin Creme says Maitreya is the Christ, and distinguishes between the two. A lot of Christians think Maitreya is the "Antichrist" which, based on Benjamin Creme's writings, is very possible. _________________ "malakh.....you are by far the most arrogant prig I have ever come across on the web.[...]you are a pathetic human being and the worst christian I have ever had contact with." -MeSoSorry |

Nope. Christmas is celebrated on Dec. 25, along with Sol Invictus and Brumalia. Those are all ancient Roman holidays and have little or nothing to do with Jesus Christ. Nice try. _________________ "malakh.....you are by far the most arrogant prig I have ever come across on the web.[...]you are a pathetic human being and the worst christian I have ever had contact with." -MeSoSorry |

JOHN DOE, you sound so sweeeeeeeet. you really are taking an interest aren't you honey. i believe thru many studies that meitreya is a top spirit. i do. they day jesus is in rome waiting for the followers. if a guy looking like JESUS appears in the sky, DON'T FALL FOR IT PEOPLE, ITS DECEPTION. jesus does not look like that. whether its before the churches (or some churches ) catching away which happens in a blink of an eye,u you won't see it, or if its the second coming before anything else happenS such as tribulation, ITS DECEPTION WE ARE TOLD WILL HAPPEN. DECEPTION PEOPLE. DON'T LET IT BEAT YOU. God himself will send strong delusion to those who believed a lie and loved not the truth. its here though, i can feel it in my spirit, can't you? AND JOHN, CHRISTMAS IS SOOOO PAGAN, EASTER AND TURKEY DAY IS REALLY SLAUGHTER DAY......OF INDIANS.I 'LL SEND STUFF AROUND THE HOLIDAYS IF I'M STILL HERE. SHALOM, DEBORAH _________________ Deb~ |

#77 at http://www.davidblaine.com/photogallery appears to have been taken within the time frame of the Nairobi stunt. His nose seems to have flattened a little since then. There are no other noticeable differences in facial features except for the beard. If he was 15 during the Nairobi stunt then obviously this is due to the fact that it was a fake beard. (He started doing magic when he was 4.) As if the photos don't tell the whole story, Blaine's mother was Jewish and he is obsessed with various things Jewish, so much so that he has Primo Levi's Auschwitz number tatooed on his forearm. He is also known to have allegedly resurrected dead animals for entertainment purposes. While I do believe sarcasm has its place in discourse, I hardly think feigned ignorance is any substitute for real ignorance. I find it sadly yet humorously ironic that my assertion of Maitreya being David Blaine dwindles into an ad hominem attack against the person of Jesus Christ. In the end my conscience usually catches up with me and I feel bad for laughing at people.
I probably should have mentioned that Dec. 25 is celebrated as "Christ's mass" on the Roman calendar, so technically it does have a little to do with Christ, since he is the one who instituted the Christian eucharist. Here are the photos of the Nairobi appearance but they lack quality resolution.

| is anybody going to a lecture in London? i'm going to the one on the 10th november. also does anybody know how the Nairobi incident is linked to Benjamin Creme? i mean is there evidence that this preacher even knows Benjamin Creme? ive been on the share international website,i im still not clear on the subject: all i gather is that Benjamin Creme claims to be in telepathic contact with the preacher, who he thinks is Maitreya, and Maitreya is some reincarnation of the buddha.i also read that Maitreya maybe living in London? |

July 1977: Maitreya leaves his ancient Himalayan retreat, taking up residence in the Indian-Pakistani community of London.
May 1982: At a Los Angeles press conference, Benjamin Creme reveals that Maitreya lives in London, and invites the media to investigate.
http://www.share-international.org/maitreya/Ma_emerge.htm
El Cremo got into theosophy at an early age and claims to have been contacted by an ascended master in 1959 that told him "Maitreya, the World Teacher ― the Master of all the Masters ― would return in about 20 years and that he (Creme) would have a role to play in the event if he chose to accept it." http://www.share-international.org/background/bcreme/bc_main.htm
20 . . . 30 . . . what's the difference? Blaine would have been about 6 in 1979. Also, "Creme's constant contact with a Master of Wisdom gives him access to up-to-date information on Maitreya's emergence, plus the total conviction needed to present this story." (same link) At other times Share makes it known that the Master of Wisdom is an Indo-Pakistani immigrant. They claim they get material from someone in Maitreya's posse and that Creme transforms into the preacher during the lectures and stuff. That's how they make the claim that he has made hundreds of appearances. The whole thing is in this one guy's head, and I'm no more convinced the Nairobi man is Creme's Maitreya than he is Jesus Christ, although I am convinced he is David Blaine. Creme is 83 years old. Expect him to die soon.
Nov. 10 is the Marine Corps' birthday so getting to London around that time is next to impossible for me. Not that I would go anyway. _________________ "malakh.....you are by far the most arrogant prig I have ever come across on the web.[...]you are a pathetic human being and the worst christian I have ever had contact with." -MeSoSorry |
